DC police looking for ‘hamburglar’ suspect
WASHINGTON (WISH) – Police in Washington D.C. are searching for a real life “hamburglar,” who broke into a fast food restaurant for a late night snack.
Surveillance video captured the suspect at a Five Guys restaurant on March 18 between 3:10 a.m. and 5:05 a.m. Police say it happened in the 1400 block of Irving Street.
In the video you can see the suspect turn on the grill in the kitchen and go get supplies to make himself a burger. Toward the end of the video it appears the suspect is talking on his cellphone while he makes his two cheeseburgers.
