Kokomo releases summer concert series lineup
KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) – Kokomo is releasing their free-full concert lineup for summer 2016.
The Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion announced its summer concert series at Foster Park in downtown Kokomo Wednesday. The summer concert series is from June 11 – Sept. 24.
The series lineup includes:
- Sat, June 11: Kokomo Ribfest: Tone Lōc, TBD
- Thurs, June 30: Pioneer Auto Club Cruise In/Sock Hop, 6:30 p.m.
- Thurs, June 30: American Graffiti, 9:15 p.m.
- Fri, July 1: The Jason Skaggs Band, 7:00 p.m.
- Fri, July 1: Smash Mouth, 8:30 p.m.
- Sat, July 2: Rogers Ritual: 7:00 p.m.
- Sat, July 2: Bret Michaels, 8:30 p.m.
- Sat. July 23: The Fabulous Thunderbirds, TBD
- Sat, July 30: Local favorites Shiny Penny and the Critical Shoes, TBD
- Sat, Aug 6: Robby Krieger of The Doors performing with Indiana rock band The Easthills supporting, TBD
- Fri, Aug 26 & Sat, Aug 27: Kiss Me, Kate – The Cole Porter classic performed by the Kokomo Civic Theatre and Kokomo Symphony Orchestra, TBD
- Sat, Sept 24: Octoberfest: Hotel California “A Salute to The Eagles,” TBD
Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
All proceeds benefit local nonprofit organizations.
Concerts are free to the public.
