2 Lafayette men arrested for robbery
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Two Lafayette men were arrested after allegedly stealing a woman’s purse near the 500 block of North Salisbury Street early Sunday morning.
According to West Lafayette police, officers were flagged down by the victim just after midnight. She reported two males stole her purse and ran away.
Police used the description given by the victim and found two suspects nearby. Police said the suspects had some of the victim’s property on them.
WLPD arrested Stacey Cooper and Ronald Collins III.
Both men face charges of robbery and theft.
