Creative summer camps for the kids!
Get those kiddos’ creativity skills working this summer with help from uPaint Pottery Studio! uPaint Pottery Studio is a place for a creative adventure, where adults and children, families and friends, clubs, groups, troops, and even corporate teams gather to create and celebrate! It’s a WALK-IN art studio, no experience or classes necessary.
It’s easy and fun for any person of any age to paint their own pottery or create their own fused glass project. No experience? Not ‘artistic’? No problem. Our friendly staff will help you pick the perfect colors and design. Come relax, socialize, and have fun in our beautiful, warm, and inviting studio. Bring your own refreshments! Whether you are looking for an afternoon project or a place to host your next group function, uPaint Pottery Studio is the place to be!
Owners Kelli Singleton and Stacey Heltsley chat with Amber about this year’s summer camps and how your child can get involved!
Here are a few camp details:
uPaint will be offering five different camps, with all new projects in each session. All camps are drop off events and run Monday through Thursday each week.
Table Time Camp will be held June 6th – 9th from 1pm to 3pm and costs $110 per child. This camp will be for children ages seven years and older. Each camper will paint twenty-five tiles and decorate the top of a bedside sized table.
Evening Art Camp will also be held June 6th through 9th but from 6pm to 8pm. This camp will be for children ages seven years and older. The children will explore a variety of different art mediums throughout the week, including painting a plate, making a glass tic tac toe board and making a string board project.
Little Artist Camp and Art Camp will be held June 13th – 16th. Little Artist Camp, for children four to six years old, will be held from 10:30am to 12pm. Art Camp, for kids seven years and older will be held from 1pm to 3pm each day. Both camps include a variety of art projects including pottery painting, glass fusing, and board art project.
Glass Camp will be held June 20th – June 24th. This camp is for kids ages seven years and older. We will explore the art of glass fusing and make four different beautiful glass projects.

uPaint Pottery Studio is a walk-in, paint your own pottery studio with two locations at 1820 East Main Street in Plainfield and 3113 W Smith Valley Road, Greenwood. Customers select their choice of pottery helpful staff walks them through the process. Prices begin at $5 and a studio fee applies for each painter to cover the firing.
