Man injured in early morning Speedway shooting
SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) – One person is in the hospital following an early morning shooting in Speedway.
According to the Speedway Police Department, a call came in just before 2 a.m. Thursday of a man who had been shot.
After arriving on scene in the 2300 block of Fair Oaks Drive in Speedway, officers found a man who had been shot in the leg.
The 49-year-old victim who told police that he was shot outside his apartment during a robbery.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
