Eskenazi Health opens farmers market for ninth season
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Eskenazi Health kicks off a new season for its farmers market Tuesday.
It’s every Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in front of the Commonground, which is right in front of the hospital off Eskenazi Avenue. The ninth season for the market will wrap up September 13th.
In 2014, Eskenazi Health started a rooftop garden on top of a building to grow some products for the market. This year’s market will include music from bands and DJ’s. There will also be games like corn hole and football toss along with movement activities, free tastings with healthy recipes, and local produce, fresh baked goods, plants and other market vendors.
