Woman arrested after driving high on heroin

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A woman was arrested after driving under the influence Wednesday night.

A Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Deputy was called to a gas station on US 31 and SR 7 for a possible overdose around 10:30 p.m.

Once the officer arrived, he was told the suspect was driving southbound on US 31.

According to the release, the Deputy found the car and made a traffic stop. Canines detected drugs and a spoon, syringe and a brown crystal substance were found on the suspect.

Every item tested positive for heroin.

20-year-old Daniella Williams was arrested and faces preliminary charges of operating under the influence, possession of heroin, possession of paraphernalia and possession of legend drug injection device.

She is currently being held on a $20,000 bond at the Bartholomew County Jail.
