Indiana Historical Society to host program on how to protect items during a disaster

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Whenever a disaster strikes, there can be mass devastation.

Buildings, homes and other structures can be damaged or even destroyed during an unexpected catastrophic situation.

While some material possessions can be replaced after a disaster, there are some that just cannot be replaced.

The loss of pictures, documents and other keepsakes and family heirlooms may not be as easily replaced.

Tamara Hemmerlein stopped by Daybreak to talk about a program the Indiana Historical Society will host to teach how to protect these important items in the event of a disaster.
