Family, friends hold vigil for missing man found dead
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A vigil was held Monday evening for the man found shot to death Sunday.
Tyrone Powell was reported missing several days ago. He was found dead in a vacant lot in the 2000 block of North Dearborn Street.
Dozens of family and friends gathered Monday at the spot where Powell was found dead.
His father said the violence must stop, and the solution has to come from within the community.
Police are now working to find out who killed Powell.
