Garth Brooks fan goes into labor at concert

MICHIGAN (WISH) – A Michigan woman went into labor at a Garth Brooks concert on Sunday.

It’s a night Jacoby Bichler and his pregnant Fiance Emily said they won’t ever forget.

“Come to find out the contractions, she was actually in labor during the concert,” Jacob Bichler, father said.

The couple had a planned c-section scheduled for Monday, which is why they decided to see the country star on Saturday.

“We were standing up, singing, getting into it and there was a couple times where she was having contractions,” Bichler said.

During Garth’s last song around 2 a.m., their son was ready to make his entrance.

“We had to go to the hospital and she was in labor,” Bichler said.

The couple welcomed Jaxson into the world just before 5:30 a.m., weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces.

“He’s got to be especially after this. I’m definitely keeping that ticket stub for his baby book, that’s for sure. He’s gonna have a concert story. It’s definitely something to remember,” Bichler said.CNN contributed to this report.
