Helio Castroneves greets IndyCar fans at local Jiffy Lube stores

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indycar driver Helio Castroneves met with race fans on the city’s east side on Tuesday.

He drove to the Jiffy Lube on Washington Street near German Church Road around 9 a.m. Fans were able to take pictures with Castroneves and get his autograph.

“The track is going to be tough to drive today so when we have the opportunity to not only make our sponsors happy but the fans happy outside of the race track it’s cool. So I’m happy to be here today,” Castroneves said.

Castroneves is driving car three for the Penske team. It’s currently on display at the east side Jiffy Lube until 2 p.m. Tuesday. On Wednesday, his car will be at a far south side Jiffy Lube on U.S. Highway 31 from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. Fans can also catch it from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Brownsburg Jiffy Lube.
