Islamic society in Plainfield condemns Orlando massacre
PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — The Islamic Society of North America in Plainfield is condemning the deadly Orlando shooting.
The organization’s secretary general told 24-Hour News 8 the massacre Sunday does not represent the Muslim religion.
“First and foremost, we condemn these senseless atrocities and our hearts go out to the families of the victims,” ISNA Secretery General Hasna Bata said.
He said people should not judge all Muslims by the action of a few.
The group says it will hold a vigil for the Orlando victims in the coming days.
