“Scaler- Dark Spirit” premiere at the IMAX

If you’re into the paranormal, you’ll be into this new film, shot locally in Indianapolis. From producer/director Dan T. Hall (Asylum, the Lost Footage, 2013) comes the feature film Scaler, Dark Spirit premiering at the IMAX Theater at the Indiana State Museum on June 18, 2016, at 7:30 PM.

Inspired by true events, this film follows paranormal researcher and author Jessica Lake as she is given video footage from a mysterious ghost hunter revealing clues to an ancient and evil spirit residing in the catacombs of the old City Church. Her curiosity piqued, Jessica launches her own investigation in search of answers to the revelations in the ghost hunters’ recordings – each video clip bringing her one step closer to the ghost hunters’ fate and to the earthbound, malevolent creature known as a Scaler.

The cast includes, Jessica Froelich (Butterfly Kisses, 2015), Moli Hall (Asylum, the Lost Footage, 2013), Ran Burns ( Asylum the Lost Footage 2013) Lafayette Scott Hankins, Dija Henry (Moving Still 2015), Nathan Bechtold , Robert McFarland and Ransom Pugh (Ezekiel’s Landing, 2015).

Shot in the depths of the city catacombs in downtown Indianapolis and various locations around the state, Scaler- Dark Spirit is the director’s second paranormal film dealing with found footage and spirits from the other side.
