Mickey’s Camp teaches adults skills, to bring in members of ’76 IU basketball team

MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – Each and every week Dick Wolfsie shares an interesting and exciting story that has a connection to central Indiana.

This time Dick Wolfsie stopped by Mickey’s Camp and the Indiana Basketball Academy.

Mickey’s Camp is a camp for adults that teaches skills from professionals and experts that the camp brings in from all over the country.

One of the upcoming programs involves bringing in members of the 1976 undefeated IU men’s basketball team and the screenwriter of “Hoosiers.”

Dick Wolfsie talked to Mickey Maurer, and from the 1976 IU basketball team, Jim Crews and Tom Abernathy.

Mickey’s Camp is at the Bradford Woods in Martinsville.  The women’s camp is scheduled for August 15 through 17.  The men’s camp will run August 17 through August 19.
