IFD investigating after battling house fire on near east side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Fire Department is investigating after battling a house fire on the near east side Thursday morning.
The fire broke out on English Avenue near Rural around 4:22 a.m.
IFD said the house is vacant and nobody was hurt.
24-Hour News 8’s Kevin Ratermann reported English Avenue is blocked at Southeastern as IFD work to clear up the scene as of 5:13 a.m.
