Woman claims sexual assault by toy in Hibachi restaurant

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CNN) – A bizarre incident at a Hibachi restaurant where a woman says she was sexually assaulted when she was squirted with water from a toy.

The toy is made to look like a stylized little boy and it does shoot water.

The folks at Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse say along with dinner, diners get a show.

One diner says she thinks the cooks at the restaurant showed a little too much of the little guy in the cook’s hand.

“You hold the toy aside and spray and water comes out,” Johnny Huang, General Manager, said.

A plastic toy that sprays water made to look like the figure is urinating when its toy pants are lowered.

The restaurant admits that one of the chefs shot some of water in the face of some of its customers.

“It peed on me basically,” Isabelle Lassiter, claiming sexual assault over the toy, said. “Out of its wee wee area.”

Isabelle and James Lassiter, here on a job from Texas, say they were mortified when the chef essentially made the toy urinate water on Isabelle.

They were so upset, they even called the police, citing assault.

“It was a sexual-style assault on my wife,” James Lassiter said.

Police said the doll wasn’t anatomically correct, but Isabelle and James say that doesn’t matter.

“Just because someone cut off a piece of plastic, it’s not there anymore, doesn’t change the fact that you’re getting peed on,” James said.

Huang apologized to the family and says he has never had any complaints about the toy before.

“The kids like it, they think it’s a water gun, kind of like a water gun, you know?”

Huang says the chefs will now ask permission before showing the toy boy again.
