2 critically hurt in Johnson County motorcycle, car crash

BARGERSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Two people were critically hurt when a motorcycle and car collided in Bargersville on Sunday afternoon.

The Bargersville Fire Departments says a car ran a red light and crashed into a motorcycle at the intersection of State Road 37 and County Road 144 around 12:30 p.m.

A man and a woman on the motorcycle were taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in critical but stable condition. One was airlifted and the other was transported by ambulance, according to a fire official.

Two people in the car were not injured.

The fire official said he did not know what direction the vehicles were traveling when they collided.

Those involved have not been identified.
