ISP trooper talks work zone awareness

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Summer is generally the time of year when road crews get to work repairing damaged roads.

However, it’s also the time when many are out and about traveling and enjoying the often warm, humid weather.   The increased number of construction zones and travelers can be a recipe for traffic accidents and injuries.

Indiana State Police trooper Nick Klingkammer stopped by to talk about the importance of the move over law.

He also discussed  how the summer road construction season has gone so far, a rule of thumb for how fast or slow to travel, and what drivers can do to make sure everyone stays safe.
