Congressman Carson, Ivy Tech hosting 7th Annual Job Fair

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Congressman Andre Carson and Ivy Tech Community College will host the 7th Annual Job Fair in Indianapolis on Wednesday.

According to a release, there will be 150 employers and over 3,500 open positions.

Nearly half of this year’s employers will offer some form of tuition benefits to prospective employees.

Congressman Carson said he made the job fair an annual event as part of his efforts to sever Indy.

“Putting Hoosiers back to work is my top priority in Congress,” said Carson. “The job market is still in flux and there are too many good people looking for work. I hope anyone who is looking for a job in Central Indiana will join me on Wednesday.”

The job fair is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ivy Tech Corporate College and Culinary Center located at 2820 North Meridian Street.
