Americans waste full week in traffic each year
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Eli Lilly’s breast cancer drug hits a snag during trials, and you may get road rage when you hear how much time we spend in traffic every year.
Eli Lilly said its late stage trial of a breast cancer drug failed. Even though the experimental drug stumbled, the trials will continue for it.
The drug didn’t show any slowing of the disease. The drug is also being tested for use in lung cancer.
In other business headlines, commuters waste a full week in traffic each year.
The Auto Insurance Center said the average American commuter wasted 42 hours and $960 last year in traffic. Commuters in big cities had it far worse.
