ISP: Death investigation on-going at home in Sullivan County

SHELBURN, Ind. (WTHI) – Indiana State Police has confirmed a death investigation is on-going at a home located in Sullivan County.

ISP Sgt. Joe Watts reported an adult female was found in the 100 block of East Broadway Street in Shelburn. This was around 3 a.m. after Sullivan County EMS and Sullivan County Fire were called to the home.

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State Police are conducting the death investigation and report foul play is suspected. But, Watts reported there is no danger to the public.

24-Hour News 8’s sister station, WTHI, said there are evidence markers scattered across the yard, and it’s a possibility there could be another location involved.
