Police searching for suspect after shooting on northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police are searching for the suspect who shot a person while riding on an ATV Friday morning on the northeast side.

According to police, the suspect shot the victim while the victim was on their porch. It happened on East 37th Street and Caroline Avenue.

Police said they believe the suspect was on the ATV during the shooting because they found the moped a short distance from where the shooting happened.

The victim is listed in critical condition.

The suspect is still at large, but police said investigators have some leads.
