Lafayette man still missing after 5 months

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The family of a missing Lafayette man is offering a reward to anyone who can help find him.

According to police, 47-year-old David Kallenberger was last seen in March on Interstate 65.

An Indiana State Police trooper says Kallenberger’s motorcycle had broken down. Kallenberger told the trooper he was fine and already had help on the way, police said.

Troopers returned to the area and found Kallenberger’s motorcycle, but no sign of him.

No one has seen or heard from Kallenberger since the day his wife and sister reported him missing. His information was submitted into the missing person’s data base on March 29.

Kallenberger is a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 200 pounds, with blue eyes and a shaved head. He has numerous tattoos on his arms, head and neck, as well as piercings on his left eyebrow and left ear.

His sister, Kimberly Hanson, is now offering a $1,000 dollar reward for any information that leads to his whereabouts.

News 18 reached out to Hanson but never heard back.
