Extension granted for ten digit dialing
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There is a delay for ten digit dialing.
October 15 is now the day when residents will have to start adding the area code even on local calls.
If you dial just seven numbers, the call will not go through.
The deadline was one week from Thursday, but the Electronic Security Association asked for more time to prepare for the transition.
