4 minors, 2 adults injured in crash on I-69

DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Police say six people were injured in a crash on I-69 Saturday.

According to police, officers were sent to the area of I-69 northbound after a three vehicle crash.

Police said when they arrived, a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta was on the left shoulder facing southbound, a 2016 Subaru Forester was in the middle of the road on its side, and a 2006 Toyota Highlander was in the right lane.

After preliminary investigation, police said the 2016 Subaru Forester, driven by Cameron McKee, 28 of Wingate, Indiana and the 2006 Toyota Highlander, driven by Thomas Seal, 67 of Ingalls, Indiana were both stopped in traffic due to another crash. Police said the 2003 Volkswagen, Jetta, driven by Abigail Stover, 28 of Indianapolis, was northbound in the left lane of I-69 and did not notice traffic stopped. She hit the 2016 Subaru Forester, which was pushed into the 2006 Toyota Highlander.

Stover and a minor in her car were treated by medics on scene, but refused any treatment or transportation.

One passenger riding with Stover was transported to a hospital in Muncie, with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the three children in the 2016 Subaru Forester were transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
