Convicted drug dealer arrested again following IMPD SWAT search

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrested two people, including a convicted drug dealer, during a recent SWAT raid.

IMPD said 32-year-old Thomas McCray and 31-year-old Latia Wells were arrested on Thursday. McCray had recently served 9.5 years for cocaine dealing.

The SWAT team served the warrant in the 600 block of Udell Street shortly after noon. Detectives seized more than five ounces of marijuana, 16 grams of spice, a large digital scale and .40 caliber ammunition.

The pair face preliminary charges of dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
