Peyton Manning thanks Crooked Stick staff after BMW Championshp

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Peyton Manning is thanking those behind the scenes after the PGA BMW Championship wrapped up in Carmel this weekend.

24-Hour News 8’s Anthony Calhoun obtained a copy of the letter Manning sent to the staff of Crooked Stick Golf Club. The former Colts player also sent along some pizza and beer.

“As in football, the people behind the scenes make everything happen and rarely get the recognition they deserve,” Manning writes. “Rest assured. I and the entire membership at Crooked Stick appreciate your hard work and understand how important you were in the success of this championship.”
