Fans organize streaming parties to pay Nelly’s $2.5M tax bill

WASHINGTON (WCMH) – Rapper Nelly is reportedly on the hook for a $2.5 million tax debt.

TMZ reports that the IRS slapped the rapper with a Lien for unpaid taxes from 2013. If he doesn’t pay, the government could start seizing assets and property.

Nelly also reportedly ows the State of Missouri around $150k from the same year.

Sources tell TMZ Nelly is working with the IRS to resolve the issues.

Loyal Nelly fans are trying to raise money to help the rapper pay his tax bill. Groups are organizing streaming parties for Nelly’s hits, like ‘hot in herre’ to help him get some royalty cash.
