Central Indiana elected officials spend day training with emergency responders

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Several central Indiana elected officials spent the day training with emergency responders.

From the Carmel City Clerk to state senators, they all put on the same equipment firefighters use everyday.

They went through exercises like performing CPR as a team in an ambulance.

The goal of Saturday’s event was to the help those that make budget decisions that affect firefighters and others emergency responders know what they need in order to do their jobs.
