INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A downtown Indianapolis barber shop helped raise money for a victim of domestic violence.

Chad’s Barber Shop donated a portion of their proceeds from Saturday’s haircuts to Carleigh Hager.

Police said Hager’s boyfriends choked and beat her.

The owner of the Chad’s Barber Shop said he doesn’t know Hager or her friend that reached out to them to set up the fundraiser.  However, he said was more than happy to help out.

Hager’s now ex-boyfriend was arrested for the attack.
