INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A verdict has been reached after three teens were charged with the murder of a 17-year-old.

Police say Steven Kendall II was shot and killed in the parking lot of a convenience store in the 2800 block of East New York Street on Sunday afternoon.

Kaylend Gilbert, Jalen Heffner and Terrence Richardson, all 17 years old, were arrested for Kendall’s murder, according to IMPD.

Detectives say the four, who knew each other, were walking down the street when Richardson pulled out a gun and shot Kendall in the chest.

A court found Terrence Richardson guilty.

Gilbert and Heffner were found not guilty.
