Two in custody after west side drug bust
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two people are in custody after Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers conducted a successful search warrant Friday afternoon.
IMPD said the search took place just after 1:00 p.m. Friday afternoon in the 2900 block of West 33rd Street.
Authorities confiscated:
- 50 grams of marijuana
- 12 grams of methamphetamine
- 1 gram of heroin
- Pistol grip shotgun
- $583 in cash
39-year-old Amanda Aten and 31-year-old Timothy Caplinger were taken into custody without incident.
Aten faces preliminary charges of possession of narcotics, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
Caplinger faces charges of dealing methamphetamine, possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
