Just a small sample of the talented children’s voices you can hear this holiday season! The Indianapolis Children’s Choir pays us a visit to showcase their upcoming holiday concert and more. Take a listen!
ABOUT THE INDIANAPOLIS CHILDREN’S CHOIR:
• This year is Artistic Director Joshua Pedde’s first year leading the organization as artistic director after taking over for the founder, Henry Leck.
o On taking over for Henry and the legacy he left: The ICC is for everyone. If you love to sing, then we have a place for you. ICC is seen as the largest children’s choir in the country, but the reason we are the largest is because Henry wanted any child who wanted to sing to have that opportunity, so we made that possible by growing the program.
• They are currently in their 31st season as an organization.
• They have almost 2,500 students in their programs The program also expanded into new areas of central Indiana in the past several years, they now have regional choirs located in Boone, Hendricks, Johnson, Hamilton, and Henry counties as well.
