IPS bus involved in crash; no injuries reported
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A school bus transporting Indianapolis Public Schools students was involved in a crash on Friday afternoon.
Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the intersection of East 24th Street and North Illinois Street around 4:15 p.m. on reports of a crash involving an IPS bus and a car.
IMPD officers at the scene told 24-Hour News 8 that neither the students and driver aboard the bus nor the occupants of the car were injured in the crash.
A spokesperson from Indianapolis Public Schools said there were 17 students on the bus at the time of the crash.
The circumstances of the crash were not immediately available.
