Beech Grove City Schools issue alert following threat aimed at high school student

BEECH GROVE, Ind. (WISH) — Beech Grove City Schools took to Facebook to alert the community following a threat in connection to Beech Grove High School last week.

In the post, officials said that a person was removed from the school setting after a threat was issued to a student in regards to a personal matter. The threat was addressed immediately and the person isn’t currently attending Beech Grove City Schools.

Social media rumors were said to be swirling about a possible school shooting at the cafeteria, but the threat was addressed and resolved.

There was never a credible threat to Beech Grove High School or any other buildings.

BGCS went on to remind the community that if a threat is ever made or if a student were to feel they were at risk, to contact administrators at 317-786-1447.

The Beech Grove Police Department has been involved from the beginning of the investigation.
