3 arrested in connection to at least 6 Indianapolis burglaries

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has arrested three men that they say are connected to at least six residential burglaries.

Detectives observed a vehicle Sunday that police said was suspected of being involved in several burglaries. They followed the vehicle to a residence in the 900 block of North Gibson Avenue — south of East 10th Street between North Franklin and North Post roads — where they witnessed the men commit a burglary. Police said several officers tried to stop the vehicle and, as the driver attempted to flee, he rammed his vehicle into several police cars and struck an officer in the process.

The three men arrested are 37 year-old Daason House, 29 year-old Charles Brooks and 33 year-old. They are suspected in at least six other burglaries in the past few weeks. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and make a charging decision.
