A Christmas Story, The Musical chronicles young and bespectacled Ralphie Parker as he schemes his way toward the holiday gift of his dreams, an official Red Ryder® Carbine-Action 200-Shot Range Model Air Rifle (“You’ll shoot your eye out kid!”). An infamous leg lamp, outrageous pink bunny pajamas, a maniacal department store Santa, and a triple-dog-dare to lick a freezing flagpole are just a few of the distractions that stand between Ralphie and his Christmas wish. Chock-full of delightful songs and splashy production numbers, A Christmas Story, The Musical, has proudly taken its place as a perennial holiday classic for the whole family.

CHRIS CARSTEN (Jean Shepherd) is returning for a 4th straight year with A Christmas Story, The Musical and is delighted to be reprising the role of Jean Shepherd! He is a veteran of some 20 years of Big League productions and cannot express enough gratitude for the wonderful opportunities he has been given to be a part of the Big League family! Recent credits include 42nd St, Saturday Night Fever, and My Fair Lady as Henry Higgins (US, Singapore, China). Chris Would like to dedicate his performance to his wonderful wife and three children!

PAUL NOBREGA (The Old Man) is delighted to return to the stage in this amazing production, and basically play his own father! Credits include: Marvin’s Room (Dr. Bob – Cricket Theatre) Gigi (Gaston – Theater in the Round) Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow – St. Paul Theater). TV credits include: Criminal Minds, Jane the Virgin, Young & the Restless, and The Drew Carey Show.
