Play For Kate Foundation donates new equipment to DNR
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is getting some new equipment thanks to a woman who lost her 11-year-old daughter.
Ashlee Bruggenschmidt started the Play For Kate Foundation when she lost her daughter Kate in an ATV accident in 2015.
The foundation donated three safety trailers and three Safety Sam robots to DNR officials who will use them to teach kids about ATV safety.
2016 was the most deadly year for ATV deaths in Indiana.
