Man killed in Johnson County crash
JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – One man is dead following a crash in Johnson County Tuesday morning.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 6000 block of West State Road 44 just before 7 a.m. for a crash with injury.
After arriving on scene, deputies discovered the two-vehicle crash was between an SUV and a pickup truck. Both vehicles had one male occupant, according to JCSO.
The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead on scene. He was later identified as 36-year-old Chad Kepner.
The condition of the other driver is unknown at this time.
It is unclear what led up to the accident.
