Brutal cold delays schools once again
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – After a weekend of snow, bitter cold Monday, and on-and-off snow Tuesday, central Indiana was hit with another round of brutal cold Wednesday morning.
It was 5 degrees in Indianapolis in the early morning hours but temperatures felt like they were negative 4 degrees. Lafayette’s temperature was 0 but felt like a shocking negative 10.
The frigid air prompted more than 100 schools to either close or delay for a third day Wednesday. To check an updated closings list click here.
Temperatures around the state should begin to warm-up Wednesday through Friday. Stay with Storm Track 8 for updates.
