Teen arrested for attacking teacher pleads not guilty

VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) – Officials report the 16-year-old who is accused of attacking a teacher at Vincennes Lincoln High School has plead not guilty.

Donavon Davis was detained on May 12 after officials report he attacked a female teacher during after school hours in a classroom.

Davis has been charged with aggravated battery and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury. He has been waived to adult court.

Court documents show Davis has plead not guilty to all charges and that he is currently out on bond.

He is expected to face a jury of his peers on Sept. 6.
