Dry and warm start to the workweek

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Temperatures make a run at the 60s through Tuesday with rain heading our way for Halloween.

Sunday night:

A wind advisory wraps up Sunday evening, but winds will likely remain strong through at least the late evening and early overnight and should start to relax by mid overnight.

Precipitation chances will hang around through the middle evening hours, but our skies should start to clear out quickly late Sunday into the overnight, as the upper-level disturbance responsible both for the wind and rain moves east.

Overnight lows fall to the middle 40s.

Monday:

We’ll have a nice start to the workweek with a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Tuesday:

Warmer day of the week, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the middle 60s.

Wednesday:

It’s a pretty good bet we’ll have wet weather for Halloween. A disturbance working through the area should bring widespread rain showers to the area while temps should be near 60° on Wednesday. It comes in the early afternoon before the rain. Expect quickly falling temperatures along with wet conditions for trick-or-treat times.

8 day forecast:

Unsettled pattern for the remainder of the extended forecast. High temperatures will struggle to get out of the 40s as we open the month of November, with several rain chances heading into next weekend.
