2 injured after bullets strike vehicle on city’s east side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are trying to figure out who shot into a car with four people inside Friday night.

The shooting happened around 11 p.m. when the vehicle showed up at the CVS on 21st Street and Post Road.

The police report indicates the vehicle was struck with bullets in the area before pulling into the parking lot of the CVS.

One person in the vehicle was treated for gunshot wounds while another victim was either grazed by a bullet or cut from broken glass.

Both victims were transported to the hospital for treatment and are said to be in stable condition.

Police believe an argument at a local high school football game led to the shooting.

Suspect information has yet to be released.
