Statewide Silver Alert canceled for Gary man last seen in August

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A statewide Silver Alert was issued and then canceled Friday morning for a 79-year-old man from Gary who disappeared nearly two months ago.
Indiana State Police canceled the Silver Alert for Charles James just after 10:30 a.m., but did not provide a reason for the cancellation.
Gary Police Department was investigating James’ disappearance. He was last seen on the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 6 in Gary, which is 150 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
