Dense fog this morning; storms to start December

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Dense fog for the morning commute with a Dense Fog Advisory for all of central Indiana with visibility down to a quarter of a mile. Temperatures Friday morning start on the warmer side, in the lower 40s. Light drizzle possible for the morning and early afternoon.

Late Friday night through Saturday morning heavy rain arrives. Heavy rain will stick with us through the morning becoming more scattered during the afternoon. There is a severe weather threat during the afternoon. Main threats will be potential for flooding, hail and damaging winds. Winds will be gusting as high as 35 mph bringing in warm and moist air. Highs will soar to the lower 60s Saturday afternoon.

Sunday looks to be the better if the two days with highs in the lower 50s and lots of sunshine! An unsettled start to the work week with another weather maker late Monday brining in a wintry mix during the later part of the day. Highs will top out in the lower 40s. Tuesday precipitation will change over to snow showers will little to no accumulations. 

Quiet for the middle half of the week with temperatures cooling into the lower 30s. Next chance of some accumulating snow arrives late Friday! Models showing some areas could see hefty snow amounts-stay tuned for details!
