IMPD arrests man after finding confiscating drugs, cash and handgun

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A man was arrested after police found drugs, cash and a gun in his home.

Police served a search warrant on Wednesday morning in the 3900 block of North Butler Avenue.

They arrested 59-year-old Ray Jones.

He was suspected of selling illegal narcotics from the home.

Police confiscated:

• Possible hydrocodone pills
• Around three grams of suspected cocaine that was packaged and ready to sell
• .25 caliber handgun
• $1,655 in cash
• 1998 Cadillac

Jones faces preliminary charges of dealing and possession of cocaine and maintaining a common nuisance.
