Investigation leads to two drug arrests in Bartholomew Co.

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – An investigation in Bartholomew County lead to the arrest of two people Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Columbus Police Department, 25-year-old Ryan Redmon and 27-year-old Chelsie McFall were taken into custody.

Police said their arrests are part of a months-long joint drug investigation by the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office and the Columbus Police Department.

Redmon and McFall were pulled over around 4:30 p.m.near Indianapolis Road during a high risk traffic stop.

During the stop, officers arrested Redmon on a narcotics dealing warrant.  McFall was also arrested.

Police said they believe Remon had been bringing heroin in the community from Indianapolis and Cincinnati.

Redmon faces preliminary charges for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a legend drug injection device.

McFall faces preliminary charges for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a legend drug injection device.

Both Redmon and McFall were transported to the Bartholomew County Jail.
