IMPD seizes drugs, guns during warrant arrest
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police seized crack cocaine and weapons while serving a warrant on the near north side of the city Friday.
SWAT officers took 23-year-old Dominique King into custody outside a home in the 100 block of W. 23rd Street.
He was armed with a .40 caliber handgun, according to IMPD.
Police say 11 grams of crack cocaine, an undisclosed amount of marijuana, money and a .22 caliber handgun were found in the home.
King faces preliminary charges of dealing cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm by a felon, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of marijuana.
The department said this arrest is part of an ongoing crackdown on community-reported drug activity.
