Noise returning to Camp Atterbury for combat training
EDINBURGH, Ind. (WISH) – Residents who live near Camp Atterbury can expect to hear loud explosions and see increased air traffic in the area as training is underway.
Training for the Army National Guard’s eXportable Combat Training Capability will start on Monday Aug. 1 and last until Aug. 20. Training will last into the evening and early morning hours.
If you are traveling in the area you advised to use extreme caution when traveling near the surrounding homes and communities.
The training is designed to give soldiers real life training to prepare them for operations at home and overseas.
