Man arrested during prostitution sting will go to trial in July

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WISH) – A man accused of operating a prostitution ring out of a Terre Haute hotel has been formally charged.

Anthony Irons is charged with promotion of human trafficking, promotion of prostitution and possession of cocaine.

Irons and his alleged partner, Chavala Wilson, are accused of bringing a 17-year-old female to Terre Haute from South Bend, for the purpose of prostitution. That female was handed over to the Department of Child Services.

Irons will head to trial July 5 and his bond is set at $50,000.
